Ad Preparation Tips:

NextMedia accepts digital files constructed in:

• Adobe Illustrator

• Adobe InDesign

• Adobe Photoshop

• CorelDraw

• Macromedia Freehand

• QuarkXpress

Files should be built at the scale of 1”=1’, with images scanned at 300-600 dpi

Additional information:

• Be sure to include all utilized images, graphics and fonts.

• If the artwork is produced solely in PhotoShop, please be aware that color matching individual items becomes more difficult.  Additionally, please keep layers separated in case changes are needed.

• Please save Logos, illustrations, and drawings as Illustrator .EPS files, with all text converted to curves (unless you accurately provide all the fonts.)

• Digital images should be saved as Color Match RGB. TIF files (Macintosh, no LZW compression).

• All QuarkXpress picture and text boxes should have no runaround unless absolutely required.

• Use QuarkXpress or Illustrator, instead of PhotoShop for solid fill text.

• Rotate any pictorial graphic only in the files native application.

• If color matching is critical, solid fill colors should be specified as a Pantone PMS color.

• Be sure to scan your images at the highest possible resolution available to you. Optimal resolution is 300-600 dpi or a native file size of 200 MB. If your scanning hardware is not of high quality, use your scanned graphics for layout and placement only (labeled FPO on the layout), and provide us with the original images to scan.
